Our goal in manufacturing is to create pure, one-of-a-kind beauty.
It will one day become universal and transcend borders and eras.
2013年 翠窯（現SUIYO）設立。
翠窯という名前は、翡翠に由来します。
翡翠は古代中国では他のどの宝石よりも高貴なものとされていました。
また中国官窯への強い憧れから、汝窯・定窯に並ぶような窯元になるという壮大な夢も、この名前には込められています。
2013 Established SUIYO.
The name SUIYO comes from the word jade.
Jade was considered more precious than any other gemstone in ancient China.
We have a strong admiration for Chinese official kilns, and our name also reflects our grand dream of becoming a pottery manufacturer on par with Ding-yao and Ru-yao.

栃木出身。東北芸術工科大学卒業。
焼き物の原点の一つである中国福建省まで足を運び窯跡を研究。
Graduated from Tohoku University of Art & Design. Researching the ruins of kilns in China, the origins of pottery.

穴山文香 FUMIKA ANAYAMA
愛知県出身。神戸学院大学卒業後画家として活動。結婚後は陶芸の分野での絵画表現を模索。
Graduated from Kobe Gakuin Univ. After married, she began exploring painting expression in the field of ceramics.

2015-2020 テーブルウェアフェスティバル(東京ドーム)出展
2017 中川政七商店と食器の共同開発
2017-2019 都内に実店舗「SUIYOU TOKYO」をオープン
2018 UNIQLO 名古屋店とコラボレーション 展示・WS開催
2020 コロナ禍突入直後の緊急非常事態宣言中に、窯業学生に向けて「コネル陶芸大学」と称したオンライン授業を毎日配信
2021-2022 産地である瀬戸市の一大イベント「せともの祭」が中止された二年間、有志のメンバーと共に町歩きイベント「せとひとめぐり」を主催。翌年、サントリー地域文化賞を受賞。

2015-2020 Tableware Festival (Tokyo Dome) Exhibition
2017 Joint development of tableware with Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten
2017-2019 Opened physical store “SUIYOU TOKYO” in Tokyo
2018 Exhibition/WS held in collaboration with UNIQLO Nagoya store
2020 During the state of emergency declared immediately after the Covid-19 pandemic, online classes called "CONERU Ceramics University" were delivered daily to ceramics students.
2021-2022 For the two years since the Setomono Festival, a major event in Seto City, the production area, was canceled, we have been hosting the “Setohitomeguri” town walking event with volunteer members. The following year, it won the Suntory Regional Culture Award.
