「方勝に午（ほうしょうにうま）」
方勝とは、菱を二つ重ねたもので、貴族の装身具が元になっています。

「宝尽し」とは、吉祥文様のひとつで、縁起のよい宝物の文様を集めたもの。
干支の動物たちと、宝文を組み合わせて豆皿を作りました。
翠窯ならではの小さな「干支もの」をお楽しみください。

約10cm程度の豆皿です。


"Lozenge Pattern with Horse"
The hōshō motif(Lozenge Pattern) consists of two overlapping lozenge shapes and originated from the personal ornaments worn by the aristocracy.

"Takara-zukushi'' is one of the auspicious patterns, and is a collection of auspicious treasure patterns.
I made a small plate by combining the animals of the zodiac and the treasure pattern.
Please enjoy the small "zodiac signs" that are unique to SUIYO.
