開窯当初から作り続けている「陽刻」シリーズの新作です。
手作業で作られた原型に合わせ、18世紀にヨーロッパの貴族の間で流行した「シノワズリ(中国趣味)」という美術様式から着想を得てできたシリーズ。
欧州の人々が憧れた東洋の神秘的なイメージを、鳳凰や卍格子で表現しています。

This is a new product in the "Yo-koku(carving relief)" series that we have been making since our founding.
This series is inspired by the art style called "Chinoiserie", which was popular among European aristocrats in the 18th century, and is based on hand-made prototypes.
The mystical image of the Orient, which Europeans admired, is expressed with phoenixes and swastika lattices.
